A Visit to Sjuts Peony Garden

What a beautiful day walking through the thousands of peonies along the West Fork of the Little Blue River. Stopping up at the shop, we received a bucket and a pair of nippers to cut our own at $10 a dozen. We were given instructions on how to cut the flowers and then we were off to explore. Sjuts Peony Garden is located near Trumbull, Nebraska and for an overview of the place, take a look at my earlier post about its beginning and historical background. It's definitely worth a stop and now I'm planning to put more peonies in my own backyard.
